Submission Check List - Mail Submission
Check off the items below. (This list need not be sent when submitting the play)
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: ____ Postmark on, or before, June 30. ____ Application completely filled out, signed, and sent with Script. ____ Mail-Submission Intake # is written in the upper right corner of the script. ____ Script is securely bound (no clips), preferably not in a spiral or hard cover loose leaf binder. Prefer Oxford Clear-Front Report Covers. ____ Full Contact Information is on the cover/title page: Title, Writer, Address, Phone #, Email Address, Agent-if applicable ____ Brief Synopsis of the play, no longer than 1/2 page, bound into script. ** ____ Under the Synopsis, a two sentence Log Line. ____ Script pages are numbered. ____ Brief Character Descriptions, bound into script. ** ____ Settings, bound into script. ** ____ Set Requirements, bound into script. ** ____ If multiple settings, include list of Scenes and their Settings, bound into script. ** ____ SASP (Self-Addressed Stamped Postcard) included, only if you want script receipt notification. Write the name of the play on the postcard along with the contest name. ____ Payment has been made, either by Certified Check or PayPal/Credit Card. ____ If paying by check: enclose a CERTIFIED CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ____ The script is less than 90 pages (U.S. Stage Play Format) & under 2 hours. One inch margins top, bottom and sides; font size similar to Courier 12. (Stage Play Format preferred though NOT required) ____ Application is signed ____ Script and Application are mailed to the address provided. |
IMPORTANT ... PLEASE NOTE:Submission materials will NOT be returned.
DO NOT submit the original script; submit a copy. DO NOT include any other materials such as press clippings or a biography. Scripts longer than 2 hours or 90 pages (Stage Play Format) will be disqualified. **If you do not have a way to fasten the Synopsis, Character Description, Set Requirements, List of Scenes and their Settings, you may staple them behind the cover page.
